5 Weeks, 6 Days ... Spotting

I just came home from work, peed, wiped, and thought I saw some discoloration on the toilet paper. Jabbed some paper part way in my oowhaa and its definitely pinkish/brown.

I'm spotting.

I can't freaking believe that I'm spotting.

And now I think I might be dizzy. And everything I know says spotting + dizzy = ectopic!

After the three blood tests, and then all the exhaustion yesterday, and my boobs hurting when I hugged a friend at Target today, all signs indicated that things were okay.

So now I'm at home, scouring the internet for evidence that people spotted randomly at week 6, with no complications, no losses, and it was just normal spotting for no bad reason.

Thank GOD I have my ultra sound tomorrow morning, so I don't have to panic for days. Hopefully laying in bed tonight will make it go away and when we go tomorrow everything will be okay.

Please God, protect me and my baby, and make it be okay. Please don't let this mean something's wrong!

From all of my blog reading since January, I think that spotting happens pretty regularly at your stage. Seems to me that sometimes the little guys take a while to snuggle in.

I hope it's nothing and that you get a happy ultrasound tomorrow! :)

My blog friend Sherry and I are both only 2 days ahead of you and we BOTH spotted this morning...she had an ultrasound today and they saw a h/b, but I have to wait until next Tues for my ultrasound. My doctor said I shouldn't worry and as long as it doesn't persist, that it shouldn't be a problem. No cramping is also a good sign. *HUGS*

I spotted on and off during the first 10 weeks of my pregnancy. It's terrifying and horrible, and I'm sending you a hug.

I second Aunt Becky - even if it is normal for this stage it is still terrifying and horrible. Good news is it was pinkish brown and not red.

Keep us updated and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
